Korrolax

God of the Underdark.

Korrolax is a Deep Dragon. He treasures his exploratory trips into the Underdark, seeking to discover lost knowledge, ancient artifacts, and strange peoples. He is the Lord and God of the Exalted Ones and is served closely by Jax, his personal assassin.

Before the Exalted Ones became his servants they were adventurers hired to scout out a new troglodyte lair of his.

The group made the mistake of attacking him personally, egged on by the charismatic, enthusiastic Karim and Fakhir, two servants of the Dragon God Tremaewynn, whom the group found entombed in a giant block of amber by Korrolax.

Captain of his own Spelljammer, the Cephalos, Korrolax has navigated the depths of the Phlogistan, doing all he can to halt the advancement of the Many-Angled Ones.

Ostegoth

Ostegoth is rumored to be the last surviving member of a race who was slaughtered by the nephilim, when the Dead Gods were still young. Ostegoth is a merchant and collector of artifacts and secrets, as well as a powerful practitioner of the arcane.

Ostegoth has many store fronts. It is unclear if there are many of him, if he simply exists at once in many places, or is following the Exalted Ones wherever they go.

Ashardalon

Ashardalon is a true dragon. Seemingly, he is larger and more ancient than any of the Dragon Gods. He sought the elemental engines in a plot to flood the Underdark with lava to serve as a massive power source. Such a power source might have been enough to fight back against the Many-Angled Ones as they encroached on the planes.

Repeatedly thwarted by the Exalted Ones, Ashardalon is clinging to life by supping on the pre-incarnated souls of the unborn in the Bastion of Unborn Souls.

The Red Hand of Doom, a cult of goblinoids and giants devoted to Ashardalon, sought to summon his avatar in an attempt to conquer the Elsir Vale.

Another cult of Ashardalon built the Sunken Citadel before it collapsed beneath the earth. This cult retreated to the Realm of Dread when Ashardalon was seemingly slain. They attempted to bring Ashardalon back to the material realm by imbuing his physical heart with their un-life, but were put down by the Exalted Ones.

Ashardalon has replaced his lost heart with a demon he plucked from the Abyss.

Sammie Witch is accompanied by a shard of Ashardalon's soul, in the form of her flaming cat familiar, Ash.

Old-Man

Old-Man is a Shoggoth emissary of the Many-Angled Ones. The Exalted Ones encountered him in an archeological dig site beneath Brindol, leading to the recovery of an elemental engine. He asked a simple quest of the and rewarded them with a small cypher when the discovered a living door's riddle for him. He nearly drove them mad and devoured them whole when they repeatedly disturbed his physical form with ancient artifact bells they carried.

The group escaped and later found him in the Tomb of Horror, attempting to use the plane of negative energy to permanently disable resurrection magic. They were able to banish him to the Far Realm with the help of an ancient mark etched on stone they had found in the archeological dig.

This banishment appears to have been temporary, as he has been harassing the Exalted Ones of late. Warning them off from pursuing anything to do with his masters, the Many-Angled Ones.

Hamster

This Giant Space Hamster has demonstrated incredible psionic abilities, surpassed only by the magnitude of his ravenous hunger. He floats through the air and is orbited by ten smaller hamsters.

After the Exalted Ones, aboard the Spelljammer Cephalos, endured a damaging encounter with a Githyanki patrol aboard a red dragon, they explored a spelljammer wreck within a phlogiston sargasso. On route to the wreck the Exalted Ones encountered an enraged Beholder, who, upon pain of death, demanded they slay the beast who had supplanted him from his home in the spelljammer wreck. The beast turned out to be our hamster friend, and with his help, the party destroyed the beholder and kept the hamster as a new member of their crew.

Semphelon

A sapling standing in the Church of Elements and watched over by an ancient Druid order.

Semphelon contains the collective knowledge of countless generations of Druids. When Un rescued it from the rest of the Exalted Ones, it gifted him with a series of visions. Ancient Dragons entombed, emaciated, beneath the earth. Ashardalon supping from the roots of Yggdrasil, the World Tree. A cabal, waiting impatiently in a crystal cavern. A beautiful Titan, crying in a cage in the depths of hell.

Desayeus

Known as the God Who Was Banned, Desayeus was a deity who took as part of his Portfolio the realm of the yet unborn.

The problem is that there was an edict, supposedly as old as the Multiverse itself, that prohibits deities from influencing preincarnate souls in any way. It has something to do with free will, so that new souls are born without any inherent bias toward any deity (although they can certainly get cultural biases as they grow older).

Because of the Ban, Desayeus was stripped of his power only seven hours after he expanded his portfolio. As a further punishment, Desayeus was imprisoned in Agathion, the fourth Layer of Pandemonium by a conclave of other gods. The Ban is taken very, very seriously, in part because the gods feared the Ban would strip them of their own power if they failed to punish Desayeus.

Desayeus' prison is guarded by Eco, a silver-skinned Solar, and Bramman, a Planetar.

Tremaewynn

Elven paladin. God of the Lands of Intrigue. Frequently partnered with Korrolax.

Her servants: Ungobulus the Tiefling Warlock, Waywocket "Gearjam" the Gnome Rogue, Varios the Human Death Cleric, and Sergeant Thed the Human Bodyguard; sometimes assisted the Exalted ones along parallel paths, though most often they attempted to get them perilously drunk on Spider Venom shots, or simply murder them outright.

Tremaewynn's Knights are known as the Order of the Velvet Shield.

Valos'maugvaeros

Horde Warlord. God of the Shaar. Sponsor of Mukkluk.

One of his sons has been seen skulking about the skies of the Shaar, an oddly clandestine habit for the son of a God of Valor.

Kalcryx

His Most Revered Eminence, Kalcryx Franrahoim, Inheritor of the Icy Throne, Lordling of the Tir’na Reach, Light in Ice, Lord in Life, and Lamb of the Bitterchill Crags. Rescued by the Exalted Ones from the Sunken Citadel.

Higantriel

His Holiness, God of the Heartlands. The Rider in Red is his chief assassin, struck down by the Exalted Ones in the lair of the Ghost Lord.

The Exalted Ones encountered his Guardinal servants in battle with minions of the Many-Angled Ones within the Digsite beneath Brindol. The Exalted Ones waited for the battle to end and quickly banished and back-stabbed the remaining Guardinals to ensure no one stood to challenge their claim to the Elemental Engine buried within the Lost City.

Yamaraj

God of the Unapproachable East. The Exalted Ones killed his Psychopomp minion who was watching over the Digsite beneath Brindol, taking his crow-based fight-milk for their own.
