Sammie Witch
Sammie Witch is a transcendent Wind Elemental, NightHag, Space Wild Elf Sorcerer, raised by Djinn... or was it Githzerai? That is, she had, before she went back in time to kidnap herself and change her destiny.

Mukkluk

Hela
A Whipser Gnome, herald of Garl Glittergold.
Helhanna's mother is Gemma, a maester gemcutter of the rock gnome clan Gawardolf of Juelogof. Hux was Helhanna's father and served as an ambassador of the whisper gnome clan Hygar, which suited his more affable nature compared to a typical whisper gnome. During a trip to Juelogof, Hux fell in love with and wed Gemma. Soon after, Gemma gave birth to their son, Grut, who grew to be a jovial lad. Hux remained in Juelogof as an ambassador to his clan, though the position required intermittent travel. Gemma was wary of Hux's travel, knowing it included perilous duties. But she also knew Hux yearned for adventure, resigning herself to his vocation.
As Grut neared eight years of age, Gemma gave birth to Helhanna. While Grut was sociable and polite, Helhanna proved to be quite the opposite- a quiet, impassive little girl. The Gawardolf clan loved Grut, but were less fond of Helhanna. A Gawardolf cousin of Gemma once remarked of Helhanna, "her pa looks like a whisper but jests like us- the child looks like us but skulks about like her pa's kin!" The cousin was quite right, for Helhanna was apt to disappear once she could walk. Gemma never worried since Helhanna remained in the safety of their borough and always returned home for supper.
When Gemma discovered Helhanna's cache of stolen sweets and gems, she was wroth, shrieking "stealing from other creatures is one matter, stealing from your own kind is an absolute disgrace! Shame on you child!" Helhanna burst into tears, displaying a rare outward demonstration of emotion. Though Gemma's outburst greatly disturbed Helhanna, she continued to collect her treasures albeit more stealthily. Grut was minutely aware of Helhanna's activities, but alas he had a sweet tooth that was quelled by bribery.
Hux departed on a fateful diplomatic mission when Grut had twenty and two years of age, Helhanna ten and four years. The purpose of the mission was hazy, as were most of Hux's trips. Some say he was treating with dwarves when they were ambushed by a giant, which crushed and ate the entire retinue. Others say a giant kidnapped Hux to keep as a pet. Some insist that it was not a giant that kidnapped Hux, but kobolds, whose purpose could only be even more sinister. The truth of Hux's disappearance is unknown. His love for his family suggests an unfortunate demise, since abandonment was too unlikely.
Hux's failure to return home did not have an immediate effect on Helhanna's family. However, after a few years, it was clear Hux was not returning. Gemma was increasingly paranoid about her children's whereabouts and forbid them from leaving Juelogof. Grut became his mother's apprentice to bring her some solace, but came to mimic her grief and paranoia.
Of course Helhanna secretly continued to venture into the forest surrounding Juelogof. Her excursions began as a mixture of challenge and silent rebellion. As time passed, Helhanna came to enjoy the solitude and adventure the forest provided. She grew more bored with her people and their communal tendencies. The forest was at least somewhat unpredictable.
At around forty and five years of age, Helhanna mentioned her desire to adventure as her father had. Gemma sobbed hysterically before devolving into anger, "do you WANT me to die of a broken heart?" Grut was not sad or angry, but worried. "I know you're more like father and acquired his love for a good journey- what if you have the same fate?" To which Helhanna replied "Grut, I'm not going to be an ambassador. We all know I'm not likeable enough for that. I'll be fine, I'm far more sneaky than father ever was." Grut shook his head, "you're not as good as you think." Helhanna made up her mind to leave that night while Hux and Grut slept.
Helhanna wandered the vast forest for a while with no real purpose. She was beginning to feel lonely, when she came across a band of sell-sword dwarves. She immediately became friends with the group who reveled in her deadpan humor. She traveled with the dwarves for many years until a falling out with her first love, the female dwarf Ilde. Helhanna happened to come across the half-orc, Mukluk, around this time. Mukluk drunkenly offered Helhanna a job as his assistant, which she quickly accepted knowing Ilde would disapprove. Helhanna and Mukluk proved to be fast friends, with both being misfits of their own kind.
Ruby Mountainbreaker, Rider in Red
Ruby grew up in a dwarf tribe that isolates itself from the outside world. Her dad was a great ogre fighter and taught her all she knows. For a while she served in her clan's ogre hunting force, until her father died. At first she left her clan out of grief, but found she liked the outside world, and that working as a mercenary paid quite well. Now that she is an odd hybrid of Kevin Travis jr. and that original dwarf, most of the dwarvenness remains but the troglodite's loyalty to corolax is strongly imprinted.
Jax Ashenstep, Former First of the Exalted
Jax was an orphan on the streets of a large city, taken in by a group of local mercenaries. They never taught him proper moral codes, instead focusing his attention toward how to get jobs and get paid. Jax was always a bit of a psychopath, perhaps enjoying the harm of others more than he should have.
Jax was reckless, and eventually he was thrown out of the mercenary band for bringing too much heat down on them. He decided he could ply his craft perfectly well elsewhere, and began traveling to find jobs away from his old home. Along the way, he picked up a taste for body modifiactions; it started with piercings, but eventually led to a surgery to split his tongue into a serpentine shape.
Max was a smart troglodyte, always a little swifter and sharper than his kin. He shared a bunk with his older brother Bradley, whom he loved very much. Bradley was quite an arsonist, and spent nearly all his free time perfecting the arts of pyromancy. Max picked up a few skills in pyromancy as well, but did not have the same devotion to the art of bruning shit.
When Bradley's leg was cut off and then he was thrown into the underground river, Max was very distressed about the loss of his family. As a servant of Corlax, and a believer in Corlax's goals and leadership, Max threw himself head-on into service, dedicating himself to becoming a well-recognized agent of Corlax in order to uplift his brother's memory.
Carlos
After the dark-ranger Rango was devoured by an ooze, Carlos, ancient knight of the Necro-thrones was able to regenerate Rango's corpse for his personal use. Unfortunately, after accidentally majorly pissing off a red dragon, Carlos made a deal with the many-angled ones that led to the group eventually burning him to death to avoid being consumed by his increasing disturbing, bestial form.
