Hektor

Grand Blade, Chosen by Fate to Unite the Crumbling Kingdom
Hektor

Hektor is an angsty teen sword who believes he has a grand destiny. He suffers from the mental trauma of his two fathers having kept him in a locked attic most of his life. He reads terrible literature and pines for the day when everyone realize that he is half of a chosen being, one of two who are most important in the whole land. (Not that he has been educated enough to know what 'land' he's even in)

A wayward son of the Sunrise Bluffs of antiquity, Talmud al Baldur returned to the small town one day with a treasure brought from deep beneath the mountain. The bones of a long dead Titan, now or always made of scintillating crystal, from which he could carry but a single ear bone, the malleus, back to town. He contracted a strange wasting disease and dissapeared one day without notice, leaving the crystalline bone behind.

Claimed as levy by the noble scion of house De Tralde, it was forged into a menacing blade by the Dwarven Smith Kothar Silgur. It served him four years before being lost in an internal war over De Tralde succession.

The Bog Hag, Agnes Gruul Gugnak, claimed the sword from the swamp where it lay after battle. Upon reading tea leaves upon the glistening entrails of a still-living but eviscerated fox, she threw-out her back for a week, thrown into the depths of a powerful divination, a chosen noble hero, a great darkness, and three overly plump riding-birds. Agnes entrusted the sword and prophecy to the Fey Lake Triton Flinren Sadomnath as she lay bedridden to recover.

Flinren watched faithfully through the crystalline waters of her forest pond for 73 years, then began to shirk her duties just a bit, leaving the sword here and there as she awaited the prophecied one. The man of fiery hair and a single eye, smelling slightly of Hellebore. Before she found him, Gilfry wandered upon the sword, propped next to a tree, and departed with the blade before Flinren could awaken, quite aggreived, from her siesta.

Seath convinced Gilfry to help him enchant the mysterious blade for a big city client, contracting with a Barbazu devil named Pagwort to fill in for their lack of arcanist knowledge. When it all went terribly wrong Hektor ended up touring the countryside with a young village boy BenJon, before he was brutally slain by a group of hopgoblins, then reclaimed by Seath and Gilf before being locked in the attic.
